Do you want a leisurely route, or do you want to visit as many wineries as is realistic? However, because Southern Oregon has over 150 wineries to choose from, we've mapped out some route ideas that are crowd favorites. We offer full-day and half-day tours and suggest visiting 3-4 wineries for the half-day tour and 4-5 for the full day tour. Ashland Winery Tour – Option 1

Our tour starts at Irvine & Roberts Vineyards, where you will look out from the panoramic windows of their tasting room of the Southern Cascade and Cascade Siskiyou Mountain Range and enjoy looking out over their estate vineyards from their outdoor patio. From there, we will take a short drive to Belle Fiore, an enchanting estate with old-world charm, where you can taste wines from their elaborately architected Wine Pavilion. Eliana Wines, a quaint boutique winery on the outskirts of Ashland will make you feel right at home. Meet owners Brian and Carien and drink award-winning wines in an intimate and picnic-friendly setting. Grizzly Peak Winery is located on 40 beautiful acres with views of Grizzly Peak and Mt. Ashland. Like Grizzly Peak, Dana Campbell Vineyards offers sweeping vistas of the valley and features a fire pit outside and a fireplace inside, as well as bocce ball and light food options.

Ashland Winery Tour – Option 2

Our tour starts at Weisinger Family Vineyards, one of the region’s oldest vineyards, where you will be charmed by the view overlooking the Bear Creek Valley. From there, you will enjoy a scenic drive through rolling hills and views of Ashland on your way to Jaxon where you will enjoy tastings as you look out over the Fern Valley. Take in the panoramic views and scenic landscape at Paschal, which is situated on 22 beautiful acres outside of Talent, near Ashland. StoneRiver Vineyard is situated on one of Oregon’s oldest registered farms, Brook Farms, and offers a variety of activities including shuffleboard, an old jukebox, and board games for a fun and relaxing experience.

Applegate Valley Winery Tour – Option 1

Enjoy a beautiful ride out to the Applegate Valley and experience wines along the popular Applegate Trail. Our tour starts with a stop at Augustino Estate at the Big Red Barn, where you will be welcomed to the Applegate Valley, taste wines among friends, and leave as family. Then stop at Troon Vineyard, with its rich 40-year history of wine making, and take in the picturesque setting of their old-world tasting room that overlooks their vineyards and the Applegate Valley. Schmidt Family Vineyards offers sumptuous gardens, rolling acres of landscape and water features, and an outdoor pizza oven. Bring a picnic, eat from their kitchen, and enjoy a variety of their wines as you stroll through their beautiful grounds. Up the road from Schmidt Family Vineyards sits Serra Vineyards with a breathtaking vista of the Applegate Valley from their deck that wraps around their tasting room. Wooldridge Creek is a family-friendly, hillside vineyard, winery and creamery that specializes in small batches of sustainable wines and artisan cheeses.

This tour begins at Red Lilly, a 260-acre vineyard featuring Spanish-inspired wines on beautiful grounds. Red Lilly’s winery and tasting room are situated close to the Applegate River and is perfect for enjoying a leisurely picnic. DeVitt Winery is a boutique, family-owned winery in the heart of the Applegate Valley, featuring premium varietals of Estate and locally-grown grapes. Also in the heart of the Applegate Valley is LongSword, a family-owned and farmed, vineyard and winery. The setting at LongSword is relaxed and its not uncommon to cross paths with the many free-range, friendly, farm animals that roam the grounds. Additionally, LongSword is the primary landing zone for numerous hang gliders and paragliders. Watch as they launch from nearby Woodrat Mountain and gracefully wind and glide through the sky as you visit with other onlookers over a glass of wine. Valley View Winery is a beautiful stop and offers a wide variety of wines to take home or enjoy on site in their picturesque tasting room. Cowhorn Vineyard & Garden is a Biodynamic-certified estate winery of award-winning wines. Additionally, they produce 6,000-7,000 pounds of fresh asparagus seasonally and have over 1,000 lavender plants.

Jacksonville Winery Tour

A day in Jacksonville would not be complete without a tour of the wineries that surround the historic gold mining town. Our first stop is at Daisy Creek Vineyard in the east hills of town, where sand, rocks, and gravel from the days of gold mining have created a unique soil perfect for growing their wines. Quady North’s tasting room is in the heart of Jacksonville on East California Street and offers a full representation of their wines produced from their 100-acre vineyard that runs along the south-facing hillside outside of Jacksonville. Just around the corner from Quady North is South Stage Cellars where 14 varietals, from 28 different winemakers, are served from estate grown Quail Run Vineyards. Named Best Winery of the Year for 2017 by Wine Press Northwest Magazine, DANCIN is situated on the north-facing hills just east of Jacksonville and offers a full menu, award-winning wines, and some of the best views of the north end of the Rogue Valley.

Rogue Valley Winery Tour – Option 1

Our first stop, Del Rio Vineyards, which has 300 acres of producing vines, is situated along the Rogue River near Gold Hill, and offers 15 varietals. Their tasting room is situated inside the Historical Stage Coach Hotel, built in 1864. Cliff Creek Cellars is a family-owned and operated vineyard, whose tasting room is in the heart of their 70-acre vineyard. Nearby, Agate Ridge Winery offers warm hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere perfect for picnicking and enjoying the views of Upper and Lower Table Rocks to the north and Mt. McLaughlin to the east. With similar alluring views of Upper and Lower Table Rocks, take in the scenery through the picture windows of Kriselle Cellars’ tasting room or sit on the outdoor patio next to the fire pit.

Rogue Valley Winery Tour – Option 2

This tour begins at Roxyann Winery, on the grounds of one of the oldest orchards in the Rogue Valley, Hillcrest Orchards, and nestled at the base of Roxyann Peak. After tasting Roxyann Winery’s award-winning varietals, we will take a short drive along the east side of Medford to 2 Hawk Vineyard & Winery where you will enjoy views of Mt. Ashland and the Rogue Valley and taste their award-winning, estate grown wines. EdenVale Winery, located on the southwest side of the Rogue Valley, on the outskirts of Medford, has history in local agriculture and is home to the Voorhies Mansion, providing a picturesque setting for wine tasting. Then visit Pebblestone Cellars, a family-owned winery on 26 acres, and enjoy tasting wines in their charming tasting room.
